Welcome to UIC Campus Recreation’s Short-Term Babysitting Service. This service is designed for students, members and non-members of the Student Recreation Facility. Children ages 6 months to 8 years of age can come play in the babysitting room for 1 to 2 hours, while their parents get a workout at the facility.

Activities for children include, but are not limited to, arts and crafts, story time and independent reading, board games, movie time, play time and computer games. All of our staff are experienced child care providers that have been certified in both CPR and First Aid, are up to date with their immunizations and have had criminal background checks making the Babysitting Room both a fun and safe environment for children.
